Pantone might have named Living Coral its Color of the Year, but it seems Disney is banking big on another hue: Potion Purple.

According to WDW News Today, Disneyland has ordered a huge supply of Potion Purple goods for its Downtown Disney store. According to the website, the purple section of the store had the most shoppers, and even obtaining a photo was difficult.

The theme park hosted a Potion Purple Premiere Pop-Up Event in Tomorrowland to preview the merchandise, which includes Minnie Mouse ears, T-shirts, backpacks and more.

Several pieces in the collection also feature sequins, which begs the question: Are sequins back in style? Disney might not be a fashion house, but the Mouse House has been known to be a champion of branded merchandise.

We say, take Disney’s lead and bet big on these purple shades for your next promotional line. The eye-catching color ensures your branding will garner attention, and if you really want to get fancy, add in some sequins.
