You'll Never Guess What the University of Wisconsin Put on a T-shirt
March 24, 2016 |
We’d be lying if we didn’t admit that our favorite part of March Madness is the fierce rivalries among the participating universities. As such, the promotional merchandise the schools print throughout the competition usually end up being hilarious and perfectly crafted.
Still, though, we were pretty shocked to see what the University of Wisconsin printed for their March Madness T-shirts. Not only that, the T-shirts sold out in a matter of days.
Last week, Bill Murray was an eager fan just trying to cheer on Xavier throughout their game against the University of Wisconsin. However, the team ended up losing to a buzzer beater, and poor Bill Murray was not ready for the disappointment that greeted him.
Instead of showing any sympathy whatever for both Xavier and Bill Murray, UW decided to print Bill Murray’s depressed expression on a slew of red T-shirts that sold for $14.99, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
The University of Wisconsin isn’t the only team to take a more comical spin on March Madness merchandise.

Indiana Hoosiers:
Yogi Ferrell’s sisters took a different take on the “supportive” T-shirt with these tees, making fun of their brother. Put your own spin on this funny T-shirt with these red tees.
University of Kentucky:
ThrowboyTees has a strong presence for the University of Kentucky’s March Madness merchandise. This T-shirt capitalizes on a quote from Kentucky’s coach, John Calipari. Screen-print your own funny quotes on these blue T-shirts.
